At our latest facility, our physicians use the extensive experience of our former residence, the Southern Nevada Pain Specialists, and combine it with the newest technological achievements, equipment and advanced modalities for treating pain disorders.

Each comprehensive pain management model provides a spectrum of care, helping the Las Vegas community to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Pouya Mohajer, M.D.

Physician

Dr. Mohajer, M.D. is board certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Mohajer was fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine at Harvard University and Brigham Woman’s Hospital.

Franco M. Lee, M.D.

Physician

Receiving his medical degree from De La Salle University College of Medicine in Cavite, Philippines, Dr. Lee later completed his residency in anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He was then awarded a pain fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, where he received additional training. In 2006, Dr. Lee joined the team of medical professionals at Southern Nevada Pain Center in Las Vegas as a pain physician. With his conscientious and compassionate approach to care, he treats patients with chronic pain and other disorders. Dr.Lee joined the medical staff of Interventional Pain Medicine on June 1, 2008.

Denice Guzzardo PA-C

Denice Guzzardo, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in pain management. Denice began her medical career as a certified surgical technologist before earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. Driven by a deep-seated passion for medicine, she pursued and obtained her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from NOVA Southeastern University in 2008.

With a technical and compassionate approach, Denice is dedicated to helping patients at the pain management clinic find long-term solutions to chronic pain, thereby improving their lives and lifestyles. Her role is integral to the team’s ability to provide the highest standards of care, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and effective treatment.

Outside of her professional life, Denice enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and caring for animals.

Chritina Soliman PA-C

Christina Soliman, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in the medical field. She began her career as a Phlebotomist before earning her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Riverside. Driven by her passion for medicine, Christina pursued a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Howard University and subsequently obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University.

Christina combines a technical approach with compassion to help patients find long-term solutions to chronic pain, significantly improving their lives and lifestyles. Her dedication and expertise are essential to the team’s ability to deliver the highest standards of care.

Outside of her professional commitments, Christina enjoys traveling, immersing herself in a good book, and spending time with animals.

Aaron Powell PA-C

Aaron Powell, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a rich background in the medical field since 2009 and experience as an advanced practitioner since 2016. He has leveraged his extensive knowledge and expertise from primary care and orthopedics to offer a comprehensive understanding of his patients’ pain, enabling him to provide more effective treatments.

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University in North Carolina. His passion for fitness drives him to encourage patients to increase their physical activity whenever possible, promoting overall well-being.

Originally from California, Aaron has lived in several states, including a significant part of his adult life in Colorado. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and longboarding. Aaron also cherishes spending quality time with his wife and three children.

Inna Stresz NP

Inna Stresz, APRN is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain management. Inna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Brockport and has over 11 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She further advanced her expertise by completing a Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Keuka College.

Inna combines a technical approach with compassion to assist patients in finding long-term solutions to chronic pain, significantly improving their quality of life. Her dedication and expertise are essential to the team’s ability to provide the highest standards of care.

Outside of her professional commitments, Inna enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing the piano, and has a deep love for animals.

Jasmine Kennedy NP

Jasmine Kennedy, APRN is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Trent University in Toronto, Canada. Jasmine has extensive experience, having served as a first assist in orthopedic total hip and knee surgeries and as an OR circulator. She further advanced her expertise by earning a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner Primary Care from Purdue University in the U.S., graduating with honors.

Jasmine combines her technical proficiency with a compassionate approach to patient care, helping individuals find long-term solutions to their healthcare needs. Her dedication and expertise are vital to the team’s ability to provide exceptional care.

Outside of her professional commitments, Jasmine enjoys staying physically active through swimming and hiking. She cherishes spending time with her husband and their two dogs. Additionally, she is actively involved with various non-profit animal adoption groups.

Allison Ballard NP

Allison Ballard, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Allison began her career as a registered nurse, gaining extensive experience in critical care within hospital settings. She completed her undergraduate studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver and further advanced her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2017.

Allison has since worked in urgent care, population health, and pain management, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. She emphasizes the importance of communication and patient education, ensuring that her patients are well-informed and actively involved in their care.

Outside of her professional life, Allison enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is also a devoted pet owner to her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Ollie and Winnie.
